HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Ward Melville High School in Setauket, New York...Member of academic team that won the 2009 Regional Championship in the New York Science Olympiad, and was also a finalist that same year in the National Science Olympiad...Won a Community Service Award during 2009...Played on varsity basketball and swimming teams...As a basketball player, she was an All League player during her sophomore, junior and senior seasons...Also named All Suffolk County as a senior...Scored 23 points (5 three-pointers) and was named MVP of the Lake Placid Tournament...Long Island Empire State Team Selection during her senior year.

PERSONAL: Major is undecided...Career ambition is to become a science teacher...Currently employed by the Guide Dog Foundation as a kennel worker...Has played the flute during the past nine years.
