    Assistant Coach

Abraham played his high school basketball at Xaverian in Brooklyn from 2006-2010. He was a three year varsity player and two year starter.

In his senior year, he was named All City Performer and was rewarded with a full athletic scholarship to Division II Queens College.

During his two year stint at Queens College, Akanmu played in 40 games and was named to the All-Rookie team, as well as being voted Queens College Most Outstanding Freshman with career averages of seven points, four rebounds, and four assists per game.

In 2013, Akanmu transferred to Baruch College and was expected to be an integral part of Baruch's Men's Basketball Team. However, back-to-back season ending injuries sidelined him. Despite being sidelined, Akanmu contributed to the team through his energy and leadership.

Akanmu graduated from Baruch College's Higher Education Program in June of 2016.

He wants to use his graduate degree to assist in his quest to become a Head Men's Basketball Coach at the intercollegiate level.
