Jimmy is beginning his fifth full season with the coaching staff and plays a major role in the day-to-day recruiting of players.
Last season (2018-19), he helped coach the team to a CUNYAC Championship and NCAA Berth.
He is no stranger to the men's basketball program at Baruch College. He graduated in 1977 with a B.B.A. in Marketing and played four years (1973-'77) for the Bearcats, which include serving as team captain during his senior season.
He represented the CUNYAC All-Stars in the game against the SUNYAC All-Stars in 1977.
The former forward for the Bearcats lives in Long Island City with his wife Nancy.
Jimmy is President of J.P. Barrett Associates, which specializes in employee benefits.
He enjoys playing basketball, golf, and fishing on his boat in Florida.
