Stefan is in his fourth season as assistant coach.
He played two seasons (2009 & 2010) for the Bearcats and was named a two-time CUNYAC First Team All-Star after scoring seven goals and two assists as a defender.
He was named a team captain his senior year and was named Top Rookie (2009) and MVP (2010) during his time with the Bearcats.
Stefan graduated from Baruch in January of 2011 with a degree in economics.
He is currently employed as a head coach for FC Transylvania with the Westchester Youth Soccer League. He also works in an after-school soccer program in the upper West Side of New York City called Soccer By Coach Fher.
Prior to Baruch, he played for two clubs (FC Banatu, Ridgewood Romac) in the highly-respected Cosmopolitan Second Division League.
Before coming to the United States in 2004, he played soccer in his native Romania serving as a team captain for FC National (1996-2003).
