Zef is in his first season with the coaching staff at Baruch.

Zef coached at Queensborough Community College (2009-2017) with a record of 45-26-4. He won three CUNYAC Regular Season Titles (2011, 2013, & 2016) and four CUNYAC Championships (2011, 2013, 2014 & 2015) during his tenure. He was named CUNYAC Coach of the Year in 2011 and 2016, and was also honored with the N.J.C.A.A. Region XV Sportsmanship Award for a second time. 

He has also worked with the Olympic Development Program coaching the U16 & U17 Boys age groups.

With a Master's of Science in Sport Psychology, Zef has also earned a USSF ‘A’ National Coaching License, a N.S.C.A.A. Advanced National Diploma, and a N.S.C.A.A. Director of Coaching Diploma. He continues to be student of the game with multiple certificates from the World Football Academy.

Zef was also a very successful collegiate player, playing for Nassau Community College and later Molloy College. For Nassau, he was a Regional Finalist and captained the N.J.C.A.A. All-Star Team. His success would continue at NCAA Division II Molloy College, where he would also captain and earn his Degree in Business Management.

In addition to coaching, Zef is also the Academy Director of the PDB Soccer Academy in Westbury, N.Y., and is a Construction Project Manager for WKO Design / Build in midtown, Manhattan.

Zef and his wife, Michele, reside in Carle Place, N.Y., and have a son and two daughters, Lucas Paul, Aneliese, and Luana.
