Danial Levent

Danial Levent will begin his fourth season as Head Coach.

He was promoted to Head Men's Volleyball Coach on June 26, 2013. He previously served as Associate Head Coach during the 2011-12 seasons.

In his first season as Head Coach (2014), he led the Bearcats to a 27-11 record, a CUNYAC Championship, and appearance in the NCAA Championship Tournament. He followed up his second season (2015) just as strong winning the CUNYAC Championship again, along with reaching the NCAA Quarterfinals.

Levent played four years (2006-09) for the Bearcats and was named CUNYAC Tournament M.V.P. three times. He played a significant part in three CUNYAC men's volleyball championships (2006, 07, 09), and led the Bearcats during his senior season to the 2009 N.E.C.V.A. semifinals for the first time in team history. During that exciting N.E.C.V.A. tournament run, the Bearcats upset #3-ranked Rivier College in the quarterfinal round.

He graduated from Baruch College in 2009 with a B.B.A. in International Marketing.

Upon graduation, he spent one year in Oulu, Finland playing professional volleyball for a team called Sun Volley. During his time, Sun Volley won the trio of mid-season, conference and national championships.

In addition to Baruch, he also serves as the Head Coach of the Girls JV Volleyball Program at Columbia Prep and Grammar High School. During 2011, he was Co-Head Coach of the varsity team.
