Men’s volleyball player Pablo Oliveira was named the Baruch Athlete of the Month for January 2010.

During the month of January, the junior outside hitter totaled 192 kills with a .298 hitting percentage to help the Bearcats climb up the NCAA Division III rankings.

** Notched 29 kills and tied his month high of 11 digs and six service aces in a season-opening win over Endicott (1/19).

** Followed that match with 25 kills and 11 digs in a win over Emmanuel (1/19).

** Notched 22 kills and 11 digs with a .378 hitting percentage in a win over MIT (1/22).

** In his finest performance of the season thus far, Pablo recorded 30 kills with a .396 hitting percentage in a win over SUNY-New Paltz (1/23).

** Totaled 16 kills and three total blocks versus #2 UC Santa Cruz (1/28).
