WOMEN'S SWIMMER DANIELA SEPULVEDA NAMED ATHLETE OF THE MONTH FOR DECEMBER

Junior swimmer Daniela Sepulveda (Middletown, NY/Goshen Central) put together a very solid month of December to win her second career monthly award.

Last year, she was also named the Athlete of the Month for February 2005.

The Stony Brook transfer continues to dominate the local scene, particularly the CUNYAC.

Daniela set the school record in the 200 Backstroke (2:27.50), while also finishing first in the 1,000-yard Free (12:12.59) against regional power Montclair State on December 3.

She also individually won the 1,000 Free (10:40.69) and 400 Free (5:06.51) against Kings Point on December 9.
