Junior women’s volleyball libero Posey Wilson has been voted the Baruch Athlete of the Month for October 2010.

Posey had a very successful October that included being named the CUNYAC Libero of the Year. She finished the month by totaling at least 30 digs in four of her last five matches.

For a complete list of highlights, please read below.

* Recorded 23 digs versus New Paltz State and 25 digs versus Union College (10/1) at the Stevens Invitational (10/1).

* Totaled 40 digs in win over Montclair State (10/2).

* Followed that match with career-high 41 digs at Rutgers-Camden (10/5).

* Notched 27 digs in a win again over Montclair State (10/23).

* Recorded back-to-back performances on the same day with 35 digs each versus Kean and SUNY-IT at Kean Tri-Match. (10/30)

* For the month of October, Posey totaled 333 digs for a 6.80 digs per set average.

* Named the CUNYAC Libero of the Year and A.V.C.A. New York Region Honorable Mention.
