Junior men's tennis player Alex Sokol has been voted Athlete of the Month for April/May.

Sokol finished the spring season in spectacular fashion by leading the Bearcats to their third consecutive CUNYAC Tennis Championship.

He was also named the M.V.P. of the CUNYAC Tournament. 

Sokol, a member of the men's soccer team that won the 2004 CUNYAC Championship, had a terrific April/May by posting 6-1 record in singles and doubles play.

He record a perfect 3-0 record in singles and doubles play of the 2006 CUNYAC Tennis Tournament.

NOTE: Due to the limited amount of athletic contests in May, the monthly recognition award was combined for April & May.
