Chimaechi Ekekeugbor was named the Baruch Athlete of the Month for November 2016.

This is the third monthly honor for the junior from Matawan, New Jersey. He was previously named the Athlete of the Month in January 2016.
During November, he scored his 1,000th career point and was named the MVP of the Western New York Tournament in Buffalo, New York with wins over Goucher and Medaille Colleges.
HIGHLIGHTS
*Scored his 1,000th career point during a win against Goucher College (11/18). In that game, he finished with 19 points and seven rebounds.
*He started the season with a 16 point, 12 rebound double-double in a home win against Birmingham Southern (11/15).
*Best game of the month was against SUNY-Old Westbury (11/122). He scored a double-double of 28 points and 12 rebounds.
*For the month, the junior averaged 18.3 points and 9.0 rebounds in leading the men's basketball team to a 6-1 record.
