Kalea Davis and Lorin Clarke scored 16 points each to help the visiting Bearcats post an 86-33 conference-opening win against Medgar Evers College on Tuesday night in Brooklyn.

The victory improves the team’s record to 3-1 overall and 1-0 in the conference standings.

Monique Salmon had a solid game at point guard with 14 points and a season-high 10 assists, while Latesha Reddick missed a double-double with eight points and 12 rebounds.

Salmon, Davis and Christina Kelly also recorded four steals each.

The women’s basketball team will return to action with their home-opener on Thursday against York College. Tip off in the ARC Arena is scheduled for 7:30 pm.
