The women's volleyball team swept the College of Staten Island in a conference match up played on Tuesday night at St. John Villa High School in Staten Island.

The victory improves the Bearcats to 3-1 in the conference standings, while the Dolphins drop to 1-3.

The match was played at St. John Villa, while the court in the main gymnasium at CSI is in the midst of renovation.

Sophomore Martina Micko (Ostrava, Czech Republic/Glen Cove) led Baruch with 10 kills, while sophomore Kristin Walker (Fayetteville, Arkansas/Fayetteville) recorded 13 assists, four kills, four service aces and six digs in another all-around effort.

Nicole Baruffaldi (Ossining, N.Y./Ossining) added nine kills, five service aces and eight digs.

The Bearcats will resume action this Saturday by competing the Ramapo College Quad, featuring the hosts Ramapo, FDU-Florham and the United States Merchant Marine Academy.
