#12 Men's Volleyball Bounces Back By Defeating Stevenson

The 12th-ranked men’s volleyball team went on the road to Baltimore Friday night to defeat Stevenson University (formerly Villa Julie) in four sets (30-28, 30-25, 30-32, 30-25).

The victory helps the Bearcats quickly bounce back from Thursday night’s disappointing four-set loss to 15th-ranked Philadelphia Biblical University.

Radu Wyrwas led the way with 65 assists, while Pablo Oliveira had a team-high 23 kills.

Danial Levent was also part of the productive offense with 17 kills and Matt McKee added 14 kills. Defensively, Gabriel Rivera and Levent had 11 digs each.

With the victory, the volleyball team improves to 8-3 on the season, while Stevenson drops to 2-1.

The men’s volleyball team will continue their weekend schedule in Baltimore by competing in the Stevenson Quad on Saturday.

The Bearcats will play matches against King’s College (NC) at 11:00 am and the College of Mount Saint Vincent at 1:30 pm.
