The women’s volleyball team swept Medgar Evers College in a CUNYAC match played on Tuesday night in Brooklyn.

The visiting Bearcats (17-9, 7-1 CUNYAC) won by the scores of 25-15, 25-11, 25-17 to record the victory.

Christina Pierre (13 kills, three solo blocks) and Carissa Oliveira (11 kills, eight digs) led Baruch to their 17th victory of the regular season.

The team also received solid play from Lauren Hayden (six kills, eight digs), Melinda Santiago (28 assists, four aces, six digs), and Melissa Pena (11 digs, three kills).

The Bearcats will return to action on Thursday, October 21, with a 7:00 pm non-conference home match against NYU-Poly.
