The #4-ranked men’s volleyball team raised their CUNYAC record to 9-0 following a 3-0 sweep of Medgar Evers College on Monday night in Brooklyn, New York.

The visiting Bearcats played their entire roster to defeat Medgar Evers (0-12, 0-9 CUNYAC) by the scores of 30-12, 30-7, 30-9.

Vincent Cruz led the attack with nine kills (.636), while Sequiel Sanchez (.636) and Santos Rivera (perfect 1.000) recorded seven kills each.

Ivan Andujar was busy again with 25 assists and two kills.

The Bearcats totaled 42 kills (.538) compared to 10 by Medgar Evers.

Jamal Baptiste led Medgar Evers with four kills.

The men’s volleyball team will return to action on Saturday with a home quad against Philadelphia Biblical (11:00 am), Sacred Heart (1:00 pm), and Newbury College (5:30 pm).
