The baseball team lost a high-scoring 16-15 non-conference contest to St. Joseph’s College of Brooklyn on Thursday afternoon at the baseball field of Bronx Community College.

The Bearcats (11-17) featured seven different players with at least two hits, which included a 4-for-6 performance with two runs scored by team captain David Chestnut.

Peter Dinolfo and Manuel Guerrero each hit home runs, while Richard Melendez scored three runs in the game. Guerrero also finished with five total RBI and Joseph Murray continues his success on the bases with two more stolen bases for a season total of 20.

The Bears of St. Joseph’s College (8-17) totaled 16 runs on 16 hits. Chris Davidson led the visitors by batting 3-for-5, with two home runs and four total RBI to go along with four runs scored.
