#5 Men's Volleyball Edge #15 Stevens (26-30, 30-28, 28-30, 30-21, 15-10)

The #5-ranked men's volleyball team overcame a 2-1 deficit to rally to defeat the #15-ranked Ducks from the Stevens Institute of Technology in a five-set thriller on Monday night in Hoboken, New Jersey.

The Bearcats turned the match in their favor by winning the fourth set in dominant fashion with a .441 hitting percentage that featured 17 kills in a 30-21 set victory to force the fifth-set tie-breaker that they eventually won, 15-10. 

Sequiel Sanchez led the visiting Bearcats this evening with 19 kills and eight digs, while Pablo Oliveira (16 kills, .235), Ratmir Gorelik (11 kills, .333), and Ivan Andujar (55 assists) all contributed in the match victory.

Carlos DeLeon came up big defensively with 29 total digs as part of a solid team effort with five other players recording at least six digs.

Overall, the men's volleyball team totaled 64 kills (.209) compared to 61 (.181) by the home team Ducks in a very highly competitive match. 

The men's volleyball team will finish their regular season on Wednesday, April 7, with a 7:00 pm match at #2-ranked Springfield College.
