The #9-ranked men’s volleyball team stretched their winning streak to twelve by sweeping the Lightning of Lehman College, 3-0, in a CUNYAC home contest on Tuesday night in the ARC Arena.

Pablo Oliveira led the attack again with 13 kills (.500) and two aces, while Eryk Kowalski and Ray Satagaj (.833) finished with five kills each.

Jesus Echevarria, the CUNYAC Player of the Week, dished out 21 assists to keep the Baruch Bearcats (15-9) undefeated in CUNYAC play with an 8-0 record.

Nate Martin led the visiting Lightning (7-8, 4-4 CUNYAC) with nine kills and seven digs.

Overall, the Bearcats totaled 43 kills for a .462 hitting percentage, while Lehman totaled 20 (.000) on the evening.

The men’s volleyball team will return to action on Thursday, February 24, with a 7:00 pm CUNYAC road contest at York College in Jamaica, New York.
