The #7-ranked men’s volleyball team swept the Bulldogs of Brooklyn College in three sets on Thursday night in Brooklyn, New York.

The visiting Bearcats (22-10, 11-0 CUNYAC) won their 46th consecutive CUNYAC contest with scores of 25-15, 25-17, 25-19.

Vincent Cruz led the attack with eight kills (.538), while Pablo Oliveira in two sets totaled six kills (.500) and four total digs. Jesus Echevarria dished out 29 assists and collected four digs on the defensive end.

Jack McKee and Ray Satagaj finished with five kills each. Nick Smith had a team-leading seven digs.

Alexander Shlivko and David Choy led Brooklyn College this evening with seven kills each.

The Baruch Bearcats will return to action on Saturday, March 5, by competing in the third and final CUNYAC Multi-Match of the regular season. The team will play Medgar Evers (11:00 am) and Lehman (3:00 pm) in the conference event to be hosted by CCNY.
