The men’s soccer team lost by the score of 4-0 to Vassar College in a match played as part of the Valiants Classic hosted by Manhattanville College on Saturday afternoon in Purchase, New York.

The Brewers of Vassar scored three times in the first half and once in the second to record the non-conference victory. They outshot the Bearcats, 18-6, and forced goalkeeper Michael Murphy (Astoria, NY) into making three saves.

Kyle Keague (Garden City, NY) led the visiting Bearcats (2-3) with a team-high two shots as Baruch finished in third place.

The men’s soccer team will now regroup and return to action on Wednesday, September 14, as they will begin the CUNYAC portion of their regular season schedule against Lehman College.

Kick off for the team’s first home match of the season to be played at the Met Oval in Maspeth, New York is scheduled for 8:00 pm.
