Women's Volleyball Defeats Medaille, Plattsburgh State, and Centenary in Home Quad

For the second time this season, the women’s volleyball team won all their matches at a Quad.

This time, the Bearcats defeated Medaille (25-21, 25-15, 25-18), Plattsburgh State (25-23, 25-16, 20-25, 25-23), and Centenary College (25-15, 25-9, 25-22) at home to raise their overall season record to 17-6.

The Bearcats, who are now on a seven-match winning streak, will resume action on Columbus Day, Monday, October 8, as they host the CUNYAC Multi-Match against Lehman (12:00 pm) and John Jay (2:00 pm).

Against Medaille,
Jessica Wu led the team with 10 kills (.400) to go along with 12 digs. McKenzie Davidson, the CUNYAC Rookie of the Week, totaled nine kills (.364) and 10 digs.

Against Plattsburgh State, Wu had another solid match with 17 kills (.389) and digs each. Peralta (11 Kills, 22 digs), Davidson (8 kills, 24 digs), and
Lauren Hayden (10 kills) also helped the team to the mid-afternoon victory.

Against Centenary, the Bearcats received another total team effort with seven players recording at least two kills each. Davidson was tops with seven kills and
Crystle Dela Cruz contributed a team-high 11 assists. Peralta finished with five service aces.
