The #13-ranked men’s volleyball team swept a pair of CUNYAC home matches against Medgar Evers College on Thursday night in the ARC Arena.

In the first match, the Bearcats won 25-9, 25-10, 25-6 by hitting .552 with 39 total kills.

Steven Coniglio (.667) and Vincent Cruz (.545) each recorded seven kills, while Aviv Elias (.500) and Sam Park (.300) each had six kills. Danny Olson dished out 34 assists in the victory.

In the second match of the evening, the Bearcats won 25-4, 25-13, 25-9 hitting .400 with 32 total kills.

Taylor Higgs notched 10 kills hitting .333 to go along with seven digs and six service aces. Jack McKee had eight kills hitting .429.

The men’s volleyball team will return to action on Wednesday, March 14, with a pair of home matches.

They will play Brooklyn at 6:00 pm, followed by #12-ranked State University of New York at New Paltz at 8:00 pm.
