Women's Volleyball Wins Fourth Straight Match, Sweep Staten Island (25-9, 25-12, 25-13)

The women's volleyball team won their fourth consecutive match by defeating the Dolphins from the College of Staten Island in three sets in a CUNYAC match played on Tuesday evening in Staten Island, New York.

The visiting Bearcats won with scores of 25-9, 25-12, 25-13 to improve to 5-4 overall and 3-0 in the CUNYAC, while the Dolphins drop to 1-4 overall and 1-2 in the CUNYAC.

Lauren Hayden (.500) and McKenzie Davidson (.700) led the attack with eight kills each, while Crystle Dela Cruz dished out 16 assists.

Michelle Stommes and Rebecca Peralta each contributed five kills in a victory that also stretched the team's overall CUNYAC win streak to 13.

Overall, Baruch totaled 34 kills hitting a strong .406, while the Dolphins totaled 19 kills hitting only .086.

The women's volleyball team will return home to the ARC Arena for a Friday, September 14, CUNYAC home match against CCNY
at 6:00 pm.
