The women’s basketball team defeated the Cougars of Medger Evers College, 87-35, in a CUNYAC contest played on Friday night in Brooklyn, New York.

Jessica Duleba led the way with 23 points and 14 rebounds (19 minutes), while Francess Henry finished with 17 points.

Domyae Ivory-Byrd (6 rebounds, 4 assists), Dona Sansone (6 points) and Roxanne Gibbs (two blocks) all contributed to the victory.

Nia Tompkins led the Cougars with 18 points.

The women’s basketball team will return to action on Martin Luther King Day, Monday, January 21, with a 5:00 pm non-conference contest at Richard Stockton College in southern New Jersey. To follow the action via live stats or video, click here.
