The Panthers from SUNY-Old Westbury rallied to defeat the Bearcats, 9-8, in a game played on Thursday afternoon in Old Westbury, New York.

The visiting Bearcats (14-11) took control early and led 8-3 during the fifth inning. Unfortunately, the Panthers (14-13-1) rallied by scoring the next five runs, which included a three run seventh inning, for the 9-8 home victory.

Angel Tejeda led the team at the plate by batting 3-for-4 with three RBI. Nicholas Pomo-Roman, John Yuksekol, and Eric Feit had two hits each in the disappointing loss.

Jasdeep Buttar scored three runs and John Yuksekol finished with two RBI.

The baseball team will return to action on Saturday, April 20, with a CUNYAC home doubleheader against the College of Staten Island. First pitch is scheduled for 12:00 pm at Kingsborough Community College Baseball Field.
