The women's volleyball team finished their regular season schedule on Saturday, November 1, at the Dig Pink Invitational hosted by SUNY-Oneonta in central upstate New York.

The Bearcats lost their morning match to Ithaca College from the Empire 8 Conference with scores of 25-20, 26-24, 25-18.

Akilah Meulens, Michelle Stommes and McKenzie Davidson each had six kills in the attack. Crystle Dela Cruz dished out 24 assists.

In the afternoon match, the visiting Bearcats lost to the weekend hosts the Red Dragons of SUNY-Oneonta from the SUNYAC Conference in four sets with scores of 22-25, 25-23, 18-25, 16-25.

Stommes led the Bearcats with 13 kills and two block solos, while Meulens totaled 11 kills. Dela Cruz had a double-double with 36 assists and 13 digs.

Meulens was named to the Dig Pink All-Invitational Team.

The Bearcats will next focus their attention to the postseason CUNYAC Tournament that will get underway at home in the ARC Arena on Tuesday, November 4, with a 7:00 pm quarterfinal match against John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
