The #7-ranked men's volleyball team stretched their CUNY Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) win streak to 27 with a sweep of rival Hunter College Hawks on Thursday night in New York City.

The visiting Bearcats (8-1, 4-0 CUNYAC) struggled out of the first set to record a 25-22 victory, but used solid hitting for a 25-14 and 25-18 scores to walk away with the convincing win.

Jack McKee had the hot hand again with 12 kills hitting .370 to go along with two aces.

Scott Standring dished out 34 assists and Brady Ambro pounded out 10 kills.

Brendan Murphy (nine digs), Steven Coniglio (four blocks) and Yanni Malo (six blocks, .625) all contributed in the win.

The Bearcats will continue a busy stretch tomorrow night when they host their Invitational featuring six ranked-teams. The team is scheduled to play #11 Elmira at 6:00 pm and Emmanuel at 8:00 pm in the ARC Arena.
