The Ducks from the Stevens institute of Technology overcame a first set loss to win the final three sets to defeat the Bearcats (17-25, 25-17, 25-21, 25-22) in an NCAA play-in match on Saturday night in the ARC Arena.

Chris Vaughan (15 kills) and Gabe Shankweiler (14 kills) paced the visiting attack with double-digit kills, while Kevin Aeckerle dished out 43 assists and collected seven digs.

The Bearcats were led by
Jack McKee with 21 kills, seven digs and five blocks in a solid all-around effort for the senior.
