The men's volleyball team swept the Cougars of Medgar Evers College in three (25-14, 25-5, 25-11) in a CUNYAC Championship quarterfinal round contest on Tuesday night in the ARC Arena.

The Bearcats advance to the championship rounds on Friday, April 11, which will be hosted this year by the Baruch College Athletic Department in the ARC Arena.

Tickets to all CUNYAC championship events on Friday are free of charge, but fans must register for tickets in advance at CUNYathletics.com/tickets.

Steven Coniglio broke a school record this evening with 17 kills on 17 attempts (1.000).

Jack McKee totaled eight kills hitting .700. Brian Coniglio dished out 17 assists in the home win.

"We are looking forward to defending our title on Friday night," said Head Coach Danial Levent. "We hope the Baruch College community will come out and support us in our quest for a championship and NCAA berth."

Teams are seeded based upon the final regular season standing.
