The women's volleyball team swept the Rams of Farmingdale State College on Thursday night in Farmingdale, New York.

The visiting Bearcats posted scores of 29-27, 25-12, 27-25 in the victory. They totaled 39 kills compared to 27 by their opponent.

Most importantly, they went the extra distance in two of the three sets and were able to pull out the victory against an opponent from the Skyline Conference.

Sydney Parks led the attack this evening with 12 kills, while McKenzie Davidson was next best with 11 kills and two aces.

Michelle Stommes had nine kills hitting a season-high .412. Crystle Dela Cruz dished out 33 assists and totaled three aces.

The Bearcats will next begin the CUNYAC portion of their schedule on Saturday, September 13 at the CUNYAC Multi-Match hosted by Lehman College.

They will play John Jay College at 9:00 am, followed by Lehman at 1:00 pm.
