Men's Soccer Routs Medgar Evers

The men's soccer team defeated the Cougars of Medgar Evers College, 8-0, in a CUNYAC match played on Wednesday night at Aviator Field in Brooklyn, New York.

The visiting Bearcats out-shot the Cougars, 23-3, and broke open the contest with five goals in the second half to improve their record to 5-3 overall and 3-1 (6pts) in the CUNYAC Standings.

Alexander Marano, Oshae Miller and Juan Galvez each had two goals, while Justin Starrantino (two assists) and Myles Bent finished with one each.

Xavier Carrillo and Ante Lonic combined for the shutout.

The Bearcats will return to action on Monday, October 6, with a 7:00 pm contest at Kean University in Union, New Jersey (live stats & video available for this match).
