Men's Soccer Falls to Kean

The men's soccer team suffered a 4-1 defeat to the Cougars of Kean University on Monday night in Union, New Jersey.

The Bearcats drop to 5-4 on the overall season schedule, while the Cougars win their ninth straight to raise their record to 12-1.

The Cougars built up a 3-0 lead, but the visiting Bearcats battled back with Oshae Miller scoring his eight goal of the season in the 55th minute. Edward Humphreys blasted a shot that was saved, but Miller beat a defender to the rebound to knock in the goal.

The Bearcats kept pressing for the second goal to start a rally, but the home side put the match out of reach with their 4th goal with four minutes remaining in the non-conference contest.

The team will resume their conference schedule on Wednesday, October 7, with a road contest at York College Cardinals. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:00 pm at Aviator Field in Brooklyn, New York.
