Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Bearcats Run Past York Cardinals

The men's soccer team defeated the Cardinals of York College, 9-1, in a CUNYAC contest on Wednesday night at Aviator Field in Brooklyn, New York.

Constantinos Meleties recorded a quick hat-trick in the first 18 minutes, while Edward Humphreys and Oshae Miller each scored twice in the contest.

Christian Minich and Anthony Abreu also scored a goal to help the team raise their record to 6-4 overall, and most importantly, 4-1 (12 pts), in the CUNYAC standings.

Xavier Carrillo earned the win with two saves. The Bearcats out-shot the Cardinals, 26-5, for the big win.

The Bearcats will hit the road again on Saturday, October 10, with a 12:00 pm CUNYAC contest at Brooklyn College.
