Bearcats Fall in CUNYAC Tournament

The men's soccer team lost a 1-0 CUNYAC quarterfinal round playoff contest to the Bloodhounds of John Jay College of Criminal Justice on a rainy Wednesday night at Randall's Island Field #10.

The Bearcats out-shot the Bloodhounds, 10-6, which included an 8-2 advantage in the first half, but could not connect for the goal.

The Bloodhounds started slow and found themselves mostly defending their half of the field during the first half, but their attack in the second half became more creative and they scored the lone goal with 18 minutes left.

Pablo Rojas pounced on a loose ball in front of the goal to score.

Diego Alvarado attempted five of Baruch's' 10 shots in the final game of the season.

They finish the 2015 season with an 8-8 record.
