Box Score

The women's basketball team led from start to finish and overcame a second half rally by the Bulldogs of Brooklyn College to win the CUNYAC Regular Season Title for the sixth time in the past nine years.

The Bearcats defeated the Bulldogs, 60-46, behind the efforts of
Sheridan Taylor with a double-double of 23 points and 11 rebounds. Francess Henry had 16 points and Iyana Abrams scored 11 points to stretch the team's winning streak to 16 in a row.

By clinching first place, the Bearcats as the top seed will host eighth-seed CCNY on Saturday, February 21, at 3:00 pm, in a CUNYAC Tournament quarterfinal home playoff game in the ARC Arena.

The team will finish their regular season schedule on Thursday, February 19, with a 7:00 pm contest against Mount St. Mary College. It will be an emotional night as the team will honor their four accomplished seniors of Abrams, Taylor, Henry and
Alicea Ulmer.

During tonight's win in Brooklyn, the Bearcats took control early by building a 15 point lead during the first half. The Bulldogs,
who are also regionally ranked with the Bearcats, got as close as five points with six minutes remaining, but Abrams scored seven of the team's final 15 points to clinch the win in front of a boisterous crowd at Brooklyn College.

Megan Campbell led the home team with 14 points.
