The men's volleyball team lost in three to No. 1 ranked the Stevens Institute of Technology in an NCAA quarterfinal round contest on Friday afternoon in Hoboken, New Jersey.

The home team Ducks won with scores of 25-19, 25-19, 25-17 to raise their record to 29-4. They hit .294 and totaled 14 blocks to advance to the semifinals tomorrow versus SUNY-New Paltz (defeated Kean 3-1).

The Bearcats hit .207, but could not put together enough momentum to pull out a set win despite 11 kills each from Nick Smith and Chris Kaimis.

Scott Standring dished out 30 assists as the Bearcats finish the season with a 25-10 record.
