Men's Basketball Advances to ECAC Semifinals, Defeat Farmingdale St. (81-76)

The men's basketball team defeated the Rams of Farmingdale State, 81-76, in a quarterfinal round contest of the ECAC Metro/Upstate Postseason Championship on Wednesday night in the ARC Arena.

The Bearcats led throughout a majority of the contest and were up by as much as 70-54 with 8:37 remaining, but the visiting Rams from Long Island did not go quietly with a big rally to cut the score to 75-71 with 1:29 left.

The Bearcats never lost their composure and sank 6-of-6 free throws in the final minute to walk off with the five point win to advance to Saturday's 7:30 p.m. semifinal round to play against New Jersey City University at The Golden Dome on the campus of Rutgers-Newark University.
