Men's Basketball Wins High-Scoring Contest at Medgar Evers (90-78)

The men's basketball team won 90-78 in a CUNYAC contest at Medgar Evers on Friday night in Brooklyn, New York.

Five different players scored in double-figures for the visiting Bearcats, led by both Doyin Isaac and William Sixsmith's 15 points.

Chimaechi Ekekeugbor had 14 points. Alex Mattina and George Smyth, Jr. also chipped in with 10 points apiece.

Baruch's balanced scoring attack and hot shooting was the key for the night, as they scored 47 points in the first half and 43 in the second.  They finished shooting a solid 57 percent from the field. The bench also accounted for 54 total points.

Medgar Evers was led by Justin Sutton, who had 27 points, and Maurice Swaby II, who had 21 points and nine assists.

The Bearcats will return home on Monday, February 13, for a Senior Night contest against John Jay College. Prior to the game, the team will honor senior
