Bearcats Outrun Panthers in Straight Sets (11, 11, 20)

Stephen Roach tallied a career-high 10 aces and Nicholas Godino hit .600 to help the Bearcats defeat the Panthers from SUNY Purchase 25-11, 25-11, 25-20 on Tuesday night in the ARC Arena.

The Bearcats hit .342 the entire contest and held the visitors to a negative .029 to even their season record at 10-10.

Godino led the attack with nine kills and Steven Lopez had eight kills with three aces in the non-conference win.

Andreo Otoniano was tops for Purchase from the Skyline Conference with five kills.

The Bearcats will next travel to Rochester, New York to compete this weekend at the St. John Fisher Invitational.
