Men's Soccer Finish Regular Season Schedule vs CSI, Host Bearcats' Appreciation Day

The men's soccer team lost 3-0 to the Dolphins from the College of Staten Island on Saturday afternoon in Staten Island, New York.

The match was scoreless through the first 67 minutes, but the Dolphins scored three late goals to record the win behind a 30-4 shot advantage.

The host Bearcats came close to scoring on several occasions, but could not break through in their regular-season finale.

The College of Staten is currently reclassifying to NCAA Division II, but for the 2019-20 athletic year they are still playing a CUNYAC schedule, in addition to regional NCAA Division II opponents. The contests against Staten Island do not count towards the CUNYAC standings, but do count for overall season record.

The Bearcats will next turn their attention to the CUNYAC Tournament that gets underway on Wednesday, October 30. They will host a 4:00 p.m. quarterfinal round contest against CCNY at Randall's Island Field #70.

After today's match, the Athletic Department and Men's Soccer Team hosted Bearcats' Appreciation Day with Edmond Wong, Shaiem Allah Morad, Kassall Greene, Adonis Martinez, Vadim Sullivan and Elliot Breslav all being honored for their dedication and service as a Bearcat in their final home match.
