Game Recap: Women's Basketball |

WBB: Bearcats Fall in Brooklyn

The women's basketball team lost on the road (83-53) to the Bulldogs of Brooklyn College on Tuesday night.

The Bulldogs took control in the third quarter, outscoring the Bearcats 23-9, to build on their halftime lead en route to the home win.

Kaitlyn Rivera led the visiting Bearcats with a career-high nine points. Melinda Spahiu (six assists, four steals), Frances Snyder, and Samantha Genco (five assists, seven rebounds) had eight points each in a balanced scoring attack.

Alexandra Moogan was tops for the hosts with 23 points and seven rebounds.

The Bearcats return to action on Thursday night in the 5:30 p.m. Battle of Lexington clash against Hunter College.
