Game Recap: Women's Basketball |

WBB: Hawks Defeat Bearcats

The women's basketball team lost 74-43 to Hunter College in a Battle of Lexington contest on Thursday night in the ARC Arena.

The visiting Hawks broke open the game in the second quarter by outscoring the Bearcats, 20-9, to record the CUNYAC win.

Melinda Spahiu led the Bearcats with her ninth double-double of the season with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Natalie Ibelhaupt had nine points and Daniela Zirpolo notched seven points, seven rebounds, five assists and four steals.

Jade Aponte led the Hawks with 23 points and seven steals.
