MVB: #14 Elms 3, Bearcats 0

The visiting Blazers from Elms College recorded a 25-17, 25-19, 25-21 sweep of the Bearcats on Thursday night in the ARC Arena.

The Blazers, currently ranked at No. 14 in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (A.V.C.A.) NCAA D3 Top 15 poll, totaled 42 kills hitting .261, while the Bearcats had 29 kills hitting .087.

Nicholas Godino was tops with 11 kills and Edward Grinberg dished out 26 assists in the tough home loss.

Jeremy Torres had a big match for the Blazers with 17 kills (.303).

The Bearcats will travel this weekend to Reading, Pennsylvania to compete on Saturday in a Tri-Match hosted by Alvernia University and includes University of Mount Union as the third team.
