Women's Volleyball Head Coach Kevin Edwards has announced his team's individual awards.

Senior Anita Sengara was named the MVP, while junior Katherine Chen earned the Coaches Award.

Sengara earns team MVP after an outstanding senior year where she won multiple awards such as Baruch Female Athlete of the Year, CUNYAC MVP, and three-time CUNYAC Player of the Week honors during the regular season. She also previously won the ECAC Metro Region Offensive Player of the Month for September and finished her senior season with more than 400 kills and 250 digs. Off the court, Sengara was more successful as the Communications major was named a CUNYAC Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year Honorable Mention.

Katherine Chen earns the Coaches Award after posting a solid junior season in helping lead the Bearcats to 19 wins, which included their first-ever post-season victory after defeating Rutgers-Newark in the ECAC Division III Championship. The Accounting major was a fixture in the starting line up with season totals of 127 kills (1.22 k/s) and 37 blocks in an all-round effort.
