Baseball Head Coach Jose Torres has announced his individual team awards for the 2020 season.

Sophomore Kemal Deljanin was named the MVP, freshman Christian Gonzalez the Rookie of the Year, and Paul Sirakowski won the Paul Dursi Pitching Award for the third straight season. 

Deljanin batted .390 with a homer, 12 RBI, 12 runs scored, and 16 total hits in nine games of the shortened season. The Real Estate major and outfielder recorded five doubles, one triple and was perfect in stolen bases at 6-for-6.  

Christian Gonzalez had a strong debut season batting .316 in seven games. He totaled six hits of which half went for extra base-hits with two doubles and a triple. He also scored seven runs.

Paul Sirakowski was undefeated at 3-0 in his three starting appearances with 18 strikeouts. The Finance & Investments major allowed only three runs and three total walks in his three appearances. He was voted the CUNYAC Pitcher of the Week on March 9.
