Bearcats Honor Six Players in Final Regular Season Home Match

The men's soccer team lost to the Lightning of Lehman College, 4-0, in a CUNYAC home contest on Saturday afternoon at Randall's Island Field #10.

The visiting Lightning out-shot the Bearcats, 20-6, and scored three goals in the second half to take over first place in the conference standings.

The Bearcats pushed all match for the goal, but could not find the back of the net. Daniel Grishin and Jemali Zarnadze had 2 shots each.

Kellen Sela recorded a career-high 10 saves this afternoon.

Mubarak Ouro led the visitors with a goal and assist.

The Bearcats will finish their regular season schedule next Saturday, October 23, at York College with a 1:15 p.m. match at the Aviator Sports Complex. Please note this match was rescheduled from Wednesday, October 20.

 Prior to today's match, the Bearcats honored final year players Cormac Foley , Luis Munoz, Nazim Louadah, Uthman Aboulwafa, Kellen Sela, and Walter Hernandez.
