Men's Soccer Lose in Double OT to St. Elizabeth

The Bearcats lost a heart-breaker, 3-2, in double overtime to the Eagles of St. Elizabeth University on Friday afternoon in Morristown, New Jersey.

The visiting Bearcats started strong jumping out to a 2-0 advantage on a fifth minute goal by Cormac Foley and a 33rd minute goal by Uthman Aboulwafa.

The host Eagles quickly rallied back with a pair of goals in the 36th and 44th minutes to tie the match before halftime.

Neither team could break the deadlock in the second half forcing the sudden death overtime.

Justin Flores won the match in sudden death with a goal with four minutes left for the home win.

The Bearcats will regroup and return to action next Wednesday with a 7:00 p.m. CUNYAC opener match against Medgar Evers College at Randall's Island Field #10.
