Women's Basketball Runs Past Pratt 70-41

The women's basketball team shot 60 percent (12-20 fg) in the first period en route to a big home win against the Cannoneers of Pratt Institute on Tuesday night.

With the exception of the first basket scored by the visitors from Brooklyn, the Bearcats led the rest of the game to record their fifth win of the regular season.

Mia Castillo poured in a game-high 17 points and 11 assists, while also grabbing seven rebounds to go along with four steals.

Rookie D'Andre McRae had another big night with a near double-double of 16 points, nine rebounds and three assists.

Elissa Leung chipped in 12 points and Allison Altamirano had nine points and six rebounds.

Shantera Grant came off the bench to score eight points and grab six rebounds.

Kylie Grant led the Cannoneers with 20 points and 12 rebounds.
