Men's Tennis Defeats St. Joseph's (LI) 9-0

The men's tennis team blanked the Golden Eagles of St. Joseph's College of Long Island, 9-0, in a non-conference match on Thursday afternoon on Long Island.

The visiting Bearcats won all three doubles and six singles to raise their season record to 7-3 with two matches left in the regular season.

The Bearcats won all three doubles with 8-0 scores.

Nicolas Altman had a solid match teaming with Piers Seidman to win third doubles 8-0 and then followed that up in sixth singles with a 6-0, 6-1 win.

Philip Dwan won 6-1, 6-1 at fifth singles.

The Bearcats will return to action on Sunday when they host the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at 1:00 p.m. at the Billie Jean King U.S. National Tennis Center.

Prior to the match, the Bearcats will honor Abhinav Srivastava and Hudson Kaylie on Bearcat Appreciation Day. They will both be playing in their final regular season home match.
